I'm a fan of the series. I picked up the light novels for a few reasons. One, my wife can't criticize what she can't see. Two, being an older reader, I grew up on BBS systems online before the internet was big and played things called MUDs which were text based online RPGs. So growing up, I had a big impression on dungeons and dragons and things like that. This series, for various reasons, is nostalgic to me. Seeing the character go from the real world to the other and taking on his character, I suppose we all wish that when we watch our heroes I guess. But reading the light novels vs watching the anime is so much more immersive and first person. I know they're not top shelf reading material or anything. But, like playing your favorite game over and over there is something comfortable and soothing reading this particular series. Like a warm blanket and having your favorite drink. Like the never ending story kid who was reading the book and became part of the story. Something along those lines I would guess. Anyways, worth the time. And always good to support these types of venue by purchasing rather than pirating.
So yeah, this book highlighted the dichotomy of Ainz as a self-conscious salary man and the confident Ainz as the Guildmaster of Nazarick. Shalltear was amazing in this book. Such well written NPC’s. This series is shaping up to be a truly great read for fans of MMORPGS and traditional table top RPGs.
You'll just have to read it if you like fantasy genre. I burn through these books in a day when each one arrives. Then have to wait a few months for the next one.
This volumen is a great example of this series, it provides a lot of information regarding the story, but it brings questions, it provides complex characters in special situations, and presents a fight that it manages to be intense and surprising,
Book came in good condition. Love the series. Watch the anime back in 2015 when it started. Love it ever since ,then i read this and enjoy it even more. If your a fan of the anime then read this. But there some changes in anime and better detail The author introduce albedo sister in it

This review is solely based on the condition of the book. I noticed that their were few letters missing in words. the letters missing did not make it unreadable but annoying I encountered this about five times or more in the book but this did not make me hate the book Because the other two I bought were perfect. overall I liked the book but I hope the next book I purchase won’t be like this
