On one hand, this book reads like an owners manual to a Honda CR-V. It's incredibly dry, and while textbook can be either meticulously organized or a rich tapestry of colorful information, this book tries to combine both and fails to be either of those things.However, we all know manuals are useful, and unfortunately, even necessary in certain fields. If you plan on a career in Behavioral Research and Statistical Analysis in Psychology, this book does have everything you will ever need. Most people I know, who work in those fields, have kept their copies for reference long after graduating. And while I might whine about the book's ability to make a subject I've always found fascinating as dry as a desert in Chile, I do admit that this book is, in essence, a Bible of Behavioral Research.
The book I borrowed for the semester is missing a huge section of pages. Didn't realize it until right before the first test. Pages 79-102 are missing and the front of the binding has let loose from the book. I was able to take pictures of the pages from another student. Not sure you should rent this one out again. Still have 1 more month of school left and then I will return your book.
This book is very informative for Research Methods Or Experimental Psych courses. The thing is, it’s bland. There’s no color or any eye-catching graphs. The 7th edition is wayyy better.
Ok so the topic is extremely boring but these authors do a great job of explaining research and stats in different ways and providing examples. Strong binder.
This is a surprisingly great textbook. I didn't think it was possible to enjoy a research methods textbook for a required class, but I really do! Also, it's light!

This does not offer the text to speech option, even though the Kindle Fire, nor is an audio book available. Low accessibility for information processing accommodation. The option to exclude text to speech was requested by the publisher as indicated in the very fine print at the very bottom of the page. For the price, this is unacceptable
